And that’s a wrap, after 17 weeks of club trial trials, the final week saw a selection of non-standard bikes brought out to play. On show were classic steel racers, cyclocross, MTBs, and even a step-through shopper complete with basket.
- Five female riders, which equalled the season’s best showing
- Fastest MTB time of the evening recorded by John Grinham with 31:07, even with a chain which self-destructed at the finish line!
- The quickest steel bike time of the night came from Tim Phillips, with 26:08 on his classic Peugeot racer
- The overall fastest time of the week was posted by guest rider Anastasia Bowler, who came home in an excellent 22:55
