At the very muddy and hilly National Cyclocross Championships in Bradford this weekend, St Ives CC fielded a team of 4 juniors. Beatrice Pauley, age 12 came 16th in the U14 girls race and, Sapphire Curtis, age 12, came 20th in the same race. Cecilia Hime, age 16, came 14th in the Junior Womens race and Angus Lawrence, age 13, came 47th in the U14 boys race. The team spent as much time running up muddy hills shouldering their bikes as they did cycling!
