Another windy night (what Wednesday night is not windy?) but at least this time it was warm although very dark with the clouds threating to give us all a soaking! Thankfully we all finished in the dry.
Thank you to all the helpers, marshals and parents – these club TT’s could not happen without you. This is truly turning into a true club event with everyone helping which is very nice to see and much appreciated. I will agree with Dan that when I said I would help I did not realise how much was involved in getting this event to happen smoothly each week.
Colin is away again next week so again we will need a person to do the push off.
Please note the 15 mile 2 up is not going ahead next week but will now take place on the 8th of July (I believe). This will allow Dan time to get the risk assessment signed off. I will have a list next week at sign on for people to write down their names if they are interested in taking part in the 15 mile 2 up. We can then group people together unless you have someone you want to ride with already.
Well done to all the riders last night in the tough conditions. TT can be hard with so many factors affecting your performance. I know I look at my times and have a right strop each week before I get put back in place and told it is just training for me. So if you did a PB well done to you!!! If not I am sure we will see you back again next week.
If you want to give it a go come along and have fun – and if you want we can always organise someone to ride with you if you want to give it a go and are a bit nervous. You don’t need a flash TT bike. A road bike will be fine.
Once again sorry if I have miss-spelt anyone’s name – I am trying my best, but some of the handwriting is not very legible.
