It’s been another busy weekend of racing for the club.
At the 11th round of the Central Cyclocross League in Kettering on Saturday both Cecilia Hime and Beatrice Pauley took the top spot on the podium for the Junior Female and U14 Girls categories respectively. Dominic Pauley came 4th in the U12 boy’s category and Josh Ibbett came 7th in the Senior Male race.
At the joint Eastern and South Eastern Cyclocross Regional Championships on Sunday the club enjoyed more podium success and 7 top 10 finishes at Stanborough Park at Welwyn Garden City.
Beatrice Pauley had a great race taking 2nd in the U14 girl’s category, Cecilia Hime also continued her strong form to come 3rd in the Junior Female category.
Sapphire Curtis was 7th in the U14 Girls race, Orla Kenna was 9th in the u12 Girls race, Dominic Pauley was 10th in the U12 Boys race, Ralf Falkner was 10th in the U14 Boys race, Samuel Smith was 10th in the U10 Boys race, Joshua Ibbett was 16th in the Senior Male race, Nathan Gibson was 16th in the Junior Male race, Andy Fountain was 12th in the Veteran Male 50-59 age group, Nick Smith was 38th and Mick Curtis was 42nd in the same category.
