t’s been another busy weekend for St Ives CC. At the 10th round of the Central Cyclocross League at avery chilly Milton Keynes Bowl, Cecilia Hime came first in the Junior Female category, Hime was also the fastest female overall. Dominic Pauley just missed out on a podium coming 4th in the U12 boy’s race and Joshua Ibbett came 8th in the Senior Male race (breaking into the top 10 for the first time this year).
At round 11 of the Eastern Region Cyclocross League, at a cold and muddy Redgrave in Suffolk, Orla Kenna was 2nd in the U12 girls race, Ruby O’Dell was 3rd in the U10 girls race, Ralf Falkner was 3rd in the U14 boys category, Nathan Gibson was 4th in the Junior Male race, Max Falkner was 9th in the U16 boys category and Samuel Smith was 17th in the U10 category. Nick Smith was 32nd, Tim Phillips was 35th and Leo Falkner was 37th in the Veteran male 40-49 age group.
At the 4th round of the National Trophy cyclocross league at Gravesend in Kent the cold and slippery course proved a challenge. Cecilia Hime came 12th in the Junior Female category, Beatrice Pauley came 13th in the U14 girls race and Nathan Gibson was 44th in the Junior male race.
