The St Ives Go-Ride juniors had another great weekend of cyclocross racing. Fielding a team of 9 children across 3 different league races, they secured 7 podium spots.
At the Eastern Region league cyclocross race at Hadleigh Park, Holly Hoy, age 16, came 2nd in the women’s race, Nathan Gibson, age 15, came 3rd in the youth boys race. Sapphire Curtis, age 12, came 2nd in the U14 girls race and Ruby O’Dell, age 7, came 2nd in the U8 girls race. Orla Kenna, age 9, came 5th in is the U10 girls race and Angus Lawrence, age 13, came 7th in the U14 boys race.
At the Central Region league cyclocross race at the Milton Keynes Bowl, Cecilia Hime, age 14, came 1st in the race and Beatrice Pauley, age 12, came 2nd in the U12 girls race. Dominic Pauley, age 10, came 14th in the U12 race.
At the Eastern Region Cyclocross race at Colchester Ruby O’Dell came 1st U8 girl, Orla Kenna came 4th in the U10 girls race and Sapphire came 5th in the U14 girls race. Nathan Gibson came 9th in the youth race.
