Please see below the results for last nights TT. Thankfully the rain stayed away from Sawtry although we did have a some drops of rain nothing like the weather forecast predicted. Although I do think the riders had a very hard time on the ride out and having to fight the wind up Alcornbury hill.
Although he did not ride last night well done to Nathan Gibson who rode in a youth race at Ride London 100 on Saturday. He was the only youth B and although had a couple of issues in the race he stayed the course and finished. Well done Nathan! I am sure you will be back again next year. Holly Hoy was also meant to be riding but was away on holiday – I do hear via the grapevine she requested to come home early so she could ride but was told NO.
There are only 4 TT’s left this season so if you have been meaning to come and try you are running out of time. Please come and try I promise we are friendly and you don’t need a TT bike.
Please note that start time goes back to 18:45pm next week therefore sign on will be 17:45 to 18:15. Also now that the nights are getting darker (can not believe I just wrote that) it is advisable to ride with a back light.
Thank you to everyone who helped last night these weekly TT’s could not take place without you.
Happy riding to everyone this weekend.
