On Sunday 9 June 2013 we are using two different routes. Following on from last week’s flat affair the A and B groups will, in direct contrast, be riding our hilliest route.
The A and B groups should ride route 24 with a cafe stop at The Mocha in Saffron Walden. This route has undergone several variations in the past but has not changed since the last time we used it on 16 September 2012.
Usually when the A and B groups have a trek into Saffron Walden the other groups use route 29 to Coton. However this week we’ll try something a little different and use the new route 42 with a cafe stop at Riverside Barns in Ickleton. This route is almost identical to route 24 (hence the departure from the norm) but doesn’t have the extra seven miles into Saffron Walden. In summary, the A and B groups ride route 24 to Saffron Walden and all other groups ride route 42 to Ickleton.
Club runs meet at Richardson Cycles in St Ives on Sundays at 8:45 AM and leave at 9:00 AM prompt.
